The Rhythm Society: #@$!% Brat

For our Spring Equinox Rhythm Society event, our fearless lead Vibrata Chromodoris channelled our collective political anger and fear into a transformational theme: #@$!% Brat! In times like these, we can’t cower to fear — but rise up in defiance and channel our inner fucking brat-ness.

We had three rooms of music and I was invited to play the “Alter-Brat” room, where anything goes. Since Disco Dianna was slated to play before me (playing her signature all-vinyl UG disco rarities), and hard-hitting electro funk from DJ Luna after, I built a wonky soulful set around some recent favorite acid funk and disco edit cuts.
