On January 31st, 2012 my brother Solomon Kahn died in a car accident while touring as a DJ in Thailand. Solomon’s fiancé Nicole, with friends and family, organized a benefit on February 29th to raise funds to help cover financial costs incurred by the tragedy. The event featured a collection of DJs and musicians from Solomon’s scene including DJ Jazzy Jeff, Justin Hoffman, Chris Clouse, Mei Lwun, Ean Golden and Ryan Lucero. This recording is my opening set from the event - a tribute to my brother.
