For the past 10 years, he’s focused on applied artificial intelligence, providing a first-hand perspective on design’s role in AI, ethical considerations related to design and business, and the path to sustainable and effective use of machine intelligence. His work in augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and natural user experience (nUX) connects the dots to emerging technology trends.
At Microsoft he initiated research work related to data sovereignty and tokenized identity-as-currency. Since then, decentralized blockchain technologies have become a viable alternative to big tech to realize a direct exchange of value for identity.
