DJ crews

In 1992 I co-founded a weekly Monday night event with some friends called 'Jazzid Up'. Along with Mark Farina, DJ Iz, Thomas and Julius Papp, we played together every week - eventually known as the 'Mushroom Jazz crew'. In 1996 I co-founded The Rhythm Society - now in its 30th year, with four large events each year, plus a campout and many smaller events. We have many very talented DJs in the RS DJ crew, and I love any opportunity to play with them and at our events. In 2019 I was invited to join the Love Bizarre DJ crew with DJ Iggy (Boomzilla) and Disco Diana (ToonTown, LoveWorks, Carefree). During the pandemic I was invited to join The Ambient Mafia, a chillout and downtempo DJ crew. These affiliations become a part of your DJ identity, and the members an extension of family.
